Bring your phone into the center of your setup with the Grip Rig MagSafe Phone Adapter. A staple of the Grip Rig system, it combines a centered phone mount with extra mounting options—all without the bulk of a separate friction arm. It works with Standard, XL, and LITE Grip Rig versions.

Attach your iPhone or other MagSafe-compatible device, then tilt the mount to find a comfortable viewing angle. The new and improved hinge is stronger than ever, and both hinge versions let you adjust the tension for easier movement or a firmer hold.

Choose your hinge length:
• Standard: Keeps your phone close to the rig for the most compact setup.
• XL: Extends the phone position for additional clearance. A great choice for taller cameras such as the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P and Insta360 Luna Ultra, or the Osmo Pocket 3 with its battery handle.

The updated adapter includes an integrated Arca-style tripod mount and a tripod mounting port on the bottom. A front-facing 1/4-20 mounting point with anti-twist locking pin holes provides another attachment option for compatible accessories.

Behind the phone mount, a magnetic filter-storage section keeps compatible ND filters and wide-angle lens attachments within reach. It works best with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 filters and lens attachments and can also accommodate select magnetic Insta360 Luna filters. Fit depends on the accessory’s size, shape, and magnetic compatibility.

I absolutely love this excess. I would really appreciate it. If you could change the design, that the back of the magnet could have a space to hold one of the DJI mics , and a lens or filter.

phone magnet works amazing with the Grip 2 but the only downside after using and moving it several times you are going to have to tighten the screws down cause it gets loose.

The product and shipping arrived safely. The quality is very good! Thank you, Zoss! I will be ordering another item that I am missing, which is the magnetic OP 3 mount.

I finally started using this with my Grip Rig 2 and man let me tell you, the way it bends and tilts is so fluid. Having the bigger screen right there (when you attach your phone) and being able to adjust it easily and and in seemingly the perfect configuration is great. This, like the Grip Rig 2 is so well built and well made I highly recommend you buy this with the Grip Rig 2.

The MagSafe attachment is virtually worthless. My iPhone 17 pro max has fallen off several times, (with or without a case)

Sorry to hear that, Kyle, and thanks for the feedback. The MagSafe on this mount is very strong for most normal use, but larger phones and certain cases can reduce hold in more active situations. If you need a “locked-in” option, a clamp style mount is the way to go, and I’m actively working on a clamp version for the future. Overall great product, only 2 issues I have is MagSafe adapter for my IPhone pro max isn’t as strong as I was hoping. There are times when my phone slips off. And when trying is screw the MagSafe adapter to the grip rig 2, one screw attaches to it while the other doesn’t.

Sorry to hear it's not as strong as you were hoping! It should hold up well but could vary with different MagSafe cases. To address the screws please ensure to screw each in a little at a time so the threading lines up perfectly. Hope that helps! Feel free to reach out!
